The Weekly Rhythm of Tenders: Why Thursday Is the Big Day
In the last 30 days, Thursday brought 21,088 new lots — nearly a third of all tenders. Here is how to plan your week around that rhythm.

What 30 days of TenderLabs data show
Thursday is the busiest day for new tenders. Over the last 30 days, buyers published 65,394 lots in total. Of those, 21,088 came out on a Thursday — almost a third. Monday had 8,403, Tuesday 8,012, Wednesday 8,381, Friday 11,742, Saturday 7,511 and Sunday just 257.
This gap is not random. Buyers often draft documents early in the week, get them approved, and publish closer to Thursday so suppliers have time to prepare. Friday stays active, but many people are already thinking about the weekend. Sundays are almost dead: 257 lots is under half a percent of the total.
The biggest lot and the leading regions
One lot stood out: a fuel additive (ADA-M) worth 8.6 trillion soum. It is a single purchase, but it shows that even narrow product lines can carry big budgets. If you work in a related field, keep an eye on that area.
Tashkent leads by region with 14,583 lots. Tashkent region follows with 6,355 and Samarkand region with 4,906. The capital has more buyers and bigger budgets, so the concentration makes sense. But the regions have their own large projects, and local presence helps there.
Sectors: construction, healthcare, IT
Construction tops the list with 10,384 lots, then healthcare with 7,751 and IT with 6,789. Construction covers repairs, new builds and infrastructure, so volume stays high. Healthcare keeps steady demand for supplies, equipment and services. IT is growing as government and business digitise, creating work in development, support and licensing.
If you sell into these sectors, expect more competition but also more lots to choose from. In quieter niches, fewer bidders can make a win easier.
How to plan your week
Build your schedule around this rhythm. Thursday is when the most new tenders appear. Set aside Friday morning to work through the previous day's flow. Monday to Wednesday are lighter on new lots, which gives you time to finish bids on what you already found.
Do not skip Saturday entirely — 7,511 lots still came out. Sunday you can leave for rest. And remember that volume is not quality. Thursday brings a big wave, but more suppliers watch that day too. Wednesday or Friday can be quieter, and your bid may stand out more.
The main point: do not try to cover everything. The TenderLabs data for the last 30 days shows the rhythm is predictable, so you can use it to your advantage.
