Which day of the week brings the most tenders — TenderLabs data
TenderLabs recorded 21,417 lots in the last 30 days. Here is how tenders spread across the week and what it means for suppliers.

What the numbers show
TenderLabs recorded 21,417 lots in the last 30 days. Split by day of the week, the picture is uneven. Thursday has the most new tenders — 9,863 lots. That is almost half the monthly total. Friday comes second with 4,110 lots. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are about the same: 2,320, 2,152 and 2,276 lots. Saturday drops sharply to 599 lots. Sunday almost stops — 97 lots.
This pattern is no accident. Buyers usually prepare documents early in the week, get approvals, and launch procedures closer to the end. Thursday becomes the day when most new notices appear.
Why Thursday peaks
The reason is the work schedule. On Monday and Tuesday, buyers collect requests, refine technical specs, and run internal approvals. By Wednesday the paperwork is ready. On Thursday they publish. Friday is a catch-up day: some tenders come out in the morning, but activity fades after lunch. On weekends, new notices almost never appear.
For a supplier, this means one simple thing: if you want to see fresh tenders first, Thursday is the key day. Platform traffic is highest, and competitors are also watching for new lots. But Thursday has a downside: with so many tenders, you can miss interesting lots if you don't set up filters.
What it means for suppliers
Plan your week around this rhythm. On Thursday and Friday, set aside time to review new notices and prepare bids quickly. On Monday to Wednesday, focus on analyzing published tenders, preparing documents and digital signatures, and collecting certificates. Weekends are a good time to study the paperwork for lots you flagged at the end of the week, without rushing.
Don't assume there are no tenders on other days. Even Monday has more than two thousand — a sizable volume. But if you want to catch the freshest and largest lots, aim for Thursday. In fact, the largest lot of the month also fell in that period — a fuel additive (ADA-M) worth 8.6 trillion sum. That confirms it again: the end of the week is when big tenders appear.
Bottom line
TenderLabs data for 30 days shows: Thursday is the day of maximum buyer activity. Build your schedule so that on Thursday and Friday you can react quickly to new notices. On early weekdays and weekends, prepare calmly for the next procedures. That way you won't miss what matters and will have time to gather all documents. TenderLabs can help you track this flow.
