Uzbekistan Tenders: 19 October Results and New Lots for 20 October
Surkhandarya led contract value with 32 bn UZS. New lots are active in Bukhara, Andijan and Jizzakh. A regional breakdown from TenderLabs.

On 19 October, Uzbekistan closed 212 contracts worth 57 bn UZS in total. More than half of that came from Surkhandarya region: 32 bn UZS across 19 deals. Syrdarya region is far behind but holds second place with 15.5 bn UZS. The new announcements for 20 October tell a different story: 1,300 lots worth 3.7 trn UZS, led by regions that barely appeared in the contracts. According to TenderLabs data, the gap between closed and open money is especially wide right now.
Contracts: who closed deals
- Surkhandarya region — 19 contracts — 32 bn UZS
- Syrdarya region — 14 contracts — 15.5 bn UZS
- Samarkand region — 29 contracts — 2.7 bn UZS
- Navoiy region — 10 contracts — 1.7 bn UZS
- Namangan region — 14 contracts — 1.3 bn UZS
- Fergana region — 52 contracts — 1.1 bn UZS

Surkhandarya and Syrdarya together accounted for almost 47 bn UZS out of 57 bn. Other regions closed deals for much smaller amounts, though Fergana led by number of contracts with 52 deals. That suggests many small purchases rather than one large lot. Khorezm had only two contracts, the lowest result of the day.

- Syrdarya region — 23 lots — 3 bn UZS
Bukhara region stands out sharply by value of new lots: 3.1 trn UZS across 75 announcements. That is many times more than any other region and clearly points to a large project or several expensive purchases. Tashkent and Kashkadarya lead by count: 282 and 131 lots respectively, but their sums are smaller — 34.1 bn and 29.1 bn UZS. Syrdarya, by contrast, listed almost no new lots — just 23 worth 3 bn UZS, even though it was second in contracts.
What this means for suppliers
- If you work with large sums, look to Bukhara region: 3.1 trn UZS in new lots is the main money flow of the day. But check security and deadline requirements; such purchases often demand experience.
- For a quick entry, Tashkent, Kashkadarya and Namangan regions are suitable — they have many lots (282, 131 and 126), though each sum is lower. This is a good place to build a portfolio and stay in the register.
- Surkhandarya region is interesting on two fronts: contracts close for large sums there (32 bn UZS) and new lots are active (136.7 bn UZS). If you have local expertise, keep this region a priority.
- Don't ignore regions with few contracts but noticeable new lots — for example, Jizzakh region (68.6 bn UZS) and Andijan (70.2 bn UZS). Competition there may be lower than in the capital.
- Check submission deadlines: lots from 20 October have just opened, but for large sums competitors usually come in the last days. Prepare your digital signature and documents in advance so you don't lose a day on formalities.
The overall picture: the contract market is concentrated in two southern regions, while new announcements are spread wider, with Bukhara clearly ahead on money. For a supplier, this means building your strategy by region: in some places you chase a large order, in others you build volume through small deals. TenderLabs can help you track these regional shifts.
