Commercial tenders on Telegram: where to find them and how to spot scams

Which channels carry commercial lots, the warning signs of a scam and a 4-step check.

Beyond public procurement, private companies post their orders in Telegram channels and groups: building materials, freight, equipment, services. This market is fast but messy.

Where to look

  • Industry channels: dedicated channels for construction, logistics and medical supply.
  • Regional business groups: entrepreneur chats by region and city.
  • Official company channels: large plants and holdings post supplier searches themselves.

The problem: one listing is repeated across dozens of channels, and the lot you need gets lost among hundreds of ads.

Signs of a scam

  • They ask for prepayment for "registration", "documents" or a "guarantee".
  • No company name, tax ID (STIR) or address, only a personal account.
  • A price well above market and pressure to "decide today".
  • An offer to agree everything in the chat, with no contract.

How to check

  1. 1Ask for the tax ID and look the company up in the state register.
  2. 2Call back through official contacts such as the website or office phone.
  3. 3Get the contract and payment terms in writing, and prefer deals without prepayment.
  4. 4Look at the channel's history: when it was created and what it posted before.

How TenderLabs helps

We collect Telegram listings, remove duplicates and show the source channel on every lot. We are working on filters that keep suspicious listings out of the feed, but the final check is always yours.
